A Few Shades of Gray

Here in Northeast PA, the sky is a particularly dismal shade of gray today. Winter has a firm hold, and the combined cold and lack of sunshine have put us in a particular "we need spring" kind of funk.

Dreary.

Gloomy.

Gray.

*Sigh*

But wait! Gray might be just the shade you need for a wedding! Gray is neutral. Gray can be dressed up, or dressed down. Gray can be paired with elegance and crystal, or it can be a fun but soft tone to a country wedding.

Gray is really quite lovely.

It can be considered a warm tone or a cool tone, depending on the shade you choose. The often soft hues pair well with a wide variety of colors. Our two favorite gray pairings are pale blush pink or a bright, cheerful yellow.

Perhaps, after all of this emphasis on the beauty of gray, we should reconsider our first paragraph here. It may not be the shade of gray in the sky that has us so depressed, perhaps it is simply the lack of lovely color to accompany it.
