This decade saw the creation of a new type of bride, fueled by influences like Pinterest and social media.  Today's bride requires an outlet for her creativity and has a need to express herself. Therefore, she needs a totally new type of company to partner with her throughout her journey.

It all began with a need . . .

 

We were a second generation design firm faced with two struggles, and we needed a solution. For one, it was nearly impossible to convey design ideas to rental companies, and it was a feat of epic proportions to find rental companies that were geared more towards design and beauty and less towards volume and function. Envision this, if you will – rental companies would pull up, one day before your event, put up soiled and weather-worn tents and leave everything else, in a pile. The chairs were so abused, you were worried they may not hold your great Aunt when she sat down. Even when all of these elements were in place, they were merely stark, cold, and unfeeling. There was no warmth or pretty design, and the three gentleman who had just installed all of this had no concern for the “look” or the “ambiance” a client wished to create.  In essence, design firms and traditional rental companies speak two different languages.

 

This spawned the creation of the region’s first full-service rental company owned and operated by a design firm, Duffy Events LLC.

 

Twenty-five years of accolades and hundreds of distinguished events later –      (including: private events for presidents, vice presidents, foreign dignitaries,       celebrities, and vip clients.) 

 

Duffy Events LLC. has been offering premiere rental and design services exclusively to non-profits, business establishments, designers, and private clubs.  We have established invaluable partnerships with organizations and designers, providing us with a wide array of connections in this industry as well as a strong foundation in our community. Despite all of our success, we were longing for more personal connections in the lives of new and unique individuals who have a more intimate investment in their events. In other words – our wish is to be part of YOUR wedding day.
